Privacy Policy Makeup Me
Effective date: 2nd October 2026
This policy explains how the Android app Makeup Me ("the app", "we") handles information. The app is developed by Hanaa Designers. If you have questions, contact us at appdev166@gmail.com.
1. Your photos
- You choose a photo by taking one with your camera app or picking one from your gallery.
- Face detection, the face check, makeup effects, skin smoothing and background blur are all processed on your device. Your photos and face data are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we do not store them on any server.
- The app does not create face IDs or use your photo to recognise or identify you.
- A photo is saved to your device's gallery (Pictures/MakeupMe) only when you tap Save. You can delete saved photos at any time with your gallery app.
2. Permissions
- Camera: the app opens your phone's camera app so you can take a photo. It does not access the camera in the background.
- Photos: the app uses the Android photo picker, so it can only see the photo you select.
- Storage (Android 9 and older only): used only to save your edited photo to your gallery.
- Internet: used to show ads.
3. Advertising
The app is free and shows ads using Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share with Google:
- Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID
- IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (approximate) location
- App interactions with ads, such as ad views and taps
- Diagnostic information, such as crash logs and performance data

4. Information we collect ourselves
We do not collect, store or sell any personal information ourselves. We do not have user accounts, and we do not use analytics other than what is described in section 3.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because your photos never leave your device, deleting the app or your saved photos removes them. For data collected by Google for advertising, see Google's privacy policy and your device's ad settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
